Acceptable Use Policy
What you can — and cannot — do on the platform.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the permitted and prohibited uses of the Sales Advisor platform. All users must comply with this policy. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
2. Permitted Uses
The platform is intended for legitimate business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) sales, marketing, and customer relationship management activities, including:
- Managing leads, contacts, deals, and sales pipelines
- Sending business communications (email, SMS, voice) to recipients who have a legitimate business relationship or have consented to receive communications
- Using AI-powered tools for sales coaching, content generation, analytics, and automation
- Integrating with authorized third-party services using your own credentials
- Automating sales workflows and follow-up sequences
3. Prohibited Uses
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Spam and Unsolicited Communications: Sending bulk unsolicited emails, SMS, or voice calls in violation of CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, TCPA, or other applicable anti-spam and telemarketing regulations.
- Illegal Activities: Using the platform for any activity that violates applicable local, provincial, national, or international law.
- Data Harvesting: Scraping, harvesting, or collecting personal data from the platform or through the platform in violation of applicable data protection laws.
- Unauthorized Access: Attempting to access accounts, data, or systems belonging to other users or organizations. Sharing login credentials with unauthorized individuals.
- Malicious Activity: Uploading malware, exploiting vulnerabilities, conducting denial-of-service attacks, or attempting to compromise platform security.
- Deceptive Practices: Impersonating others, using false identities, or misrepresenting affiliations in communications sent through the platform.
- Harmful Content: Storing, transmitting, or generating content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or promotes discrimination or violence.
- Circumventing Controls: Bypassing rate limits, session enforcement, MFA requirements, or other security controls implemented by the platform.
- Reselling: Reselling, sublicensing, or providing access to the platform to unauthorized third parties without explicit written agreement.
4. Communication Compliance
Users are solely responsible for ensuring all communications sent through the platform comply with applicable laws, including but not limited to:
- CAN-SPAM Act (United States)
- CASL — Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation
- GDPR (European Union / United Kingdom)
- TCPA — Telephone Consumer Protection Act (United States)
- CRTC Do Not Call List regulations (Canada)
- Any other applicable local, national, or international communication regulations
Sales Advisor is a technology platform provider. You are the legal sender of all communications and bear full responsibility for compliance.
5. AI Usage Guidelines
- AI-generated content must be reviewed by the user before being sent to recipients.
- Users must not represent AI-generated content as human-created when such disclosure is required by law.
- AI voice calling features must comply with applicable telemarketing and robocalling regulations, including disclosure requirements.
- Users are responsible for the accuracy of any AI-generated content they distribute.
6. Enforcement
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:
- Warning notification
- Temporary suspension of account access
- Permanent termination of the account
- Reporting to appropriate law enforcement authorities
Sales Advisor reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action without prior notice.
